Every day, from 3-11p.m., Foster PAL provides a lifeline when behaviors are challenging, guidance to appropriate resources, or just someone to talk to about the unique concerns of caring for foster children.

Family Support Program now has another invaluable component -- Foster Parent Advice Line (Foster PAL). Foster and kinship caregivers need support for the unique issues of parenting children who may have exceptional needs related to attachment, seperation, experiences of trauma, and behavioral concerns. FosterPAL provides telephone counseling and case management to assist caregivers with accessing resources, navigating the child welfare system, understanding and working with child developmental and behavioral issues, and meeting the personal support needs of caregivers.
